Described as versatile and intelligent the seasoned artist earned his acting credentials hosting a local television show and has worked with multiple Grammy award-winning, gold, and platinum recording artists and producers.
Born from the wisdom and knowledge instilled within him from family members, and personal life-altering experiences, his songs present themselves as poetry put to music. Jus Mic understands and respects the power of music to encourage change, using his music as a medium to do so. His quality music and consistency earned him a feature in Cleveland’s The Scene Magazines, as "Best Rapper" (2008), features on three Mick Boogie, and Terry Urban mixtapes; also being featured on the duo's popular Shade45 Sirius Satellite show Press Play. He has gone on to do hundreds of shows throughout the East Coast and Midwest. Staying true to his underground roots he's earned the respect of major labels like Def Jam, G unit, EMI, Interscope, Atlantic, Warner Brothers, and Sony.
Jus Mic took the underground by storm with the release of his Jus Mic CD sample, hosted by Mic Boogie and Terry Urban, with 1.5 million downloads. He later released another hit mixtape, titled Poetry for Misfits, an equal parts hip-hop and spoken word album that quietly made its way through the underground scene to his extremely loyal fan base.
From signing a songwriting deal with a music publishing company, his self produced debut studio album "Indefinable", followed by "Peaces and Elevens" the indomitable artist continues to make ripples in the music world. As the third member of the metal and hip-hop fueled group 10,000 Cadillac's, Jus joins Skinny and J-Mann (Drummer and Front Man - respectively) of the metal band Mushroomhead. The trios roller-coaster of successful shows and appearances led to their debut album in 2016.
